How is text message marketing not SPAM? At Age Texting, we hate SMS/MMS marketing SPAM just as much as the next person. To make Age Texting 100% SPAM free, each SMS/MMS campaign is opt-in only. This means that only the customers who want your messages will receive your messages.
Who owns the data? You own all the data, we just securely store it for you.
Do you share any of my data with anyone else? No, never. It's your data and we keep it confidential.
Can I export my data? Yes, you can export your data as a .CSV file. You worked hard to grow your subscriber list, and it is your data.
Does anyone else get to send text messages to my subscribers? Never. You're the only person with access to your Age Texting account, which means you're the only one who can send text campaigns to your subscribers.
How will I be billed for Age Texting's service? Age Texting charges a monthly minimum or the cost of your previous month's sent messages on the 1st of every month—whichever is greater. This is based on the plan you have agreed to with Age Texting.
Do I need to sign a monthly contract? At Age Texting, we don't lock you into a contract, allowing you to cancel at anytime if you aren't 100% satisfied. However, we strongly encourage you to try a campaign strategy so you can reap the rewards of text marketing. We will right alongside you to develop a strategy to reach your communication and marketing goals.
Will I receive a receipt when I'm billed? Yes, every month you will receive a receipt of payment in your email inbox for the Age Texting service.

Do you charge per text message or per subscriber? We charge you for the amount of messages you send in your Age Texting account. To calculate this, we multiply the message credit count per message and the number of contacts your message campaign was sent to.
Do you accept check payment? Yes, but we prefer credit card. Check payments must be received within 5 days of your invoice.
Will I be charged for opt-ins, replies and opt-outs? Age Texting only charges outgoing messages. When a contact opts in, they receive a confirmation autoresponder which is an outgoing message. Opt-outs receive a confirmation autoresponder which is an outgoing messages. All incoming messages (when a contact texts back) are free.
Do you charge more for additional keywords or campaigns? Unlike other SMS/MMS providers that charge anywhere from $15-$30 per additional SMS/MMS key-word, Age Texting allows you to create as many SMS/MMS keywords and campaigns as you want for free.
Are there any limitations to the free trial? The only limitation on the free trial is that you can only create one of each type of SMS/MMS campaign (Mass Messaging & Autoresponders). Besides that, during the free 7-day trial, you can send as many text messages and have as many SMS/MMS subscribers as you like.
How long is the free trial? The free trial lasts for 7 days. Long enough for you to fall in love with Age Texting, or at least that's what we expect.
Are there any restrictions on the content of SMS/MMS messages? Review Age Texting's content guidelines to ensure compliance with SMS/MMS regulations and best practices.
Can I send multimedia messages (MMS) with Age Texting? Absolutely. Our platform allows you to send images, animations, video and audio files, and PDF files. Your entire message (text portion and attachment) must be less than 1 MB, however.

Can I send SMS/MMS messages internationally with the Age Texting platform? We may support international SMS/MMS messaging. Please contact us for international coverage and pricing details.
How do I unsubscribe or opt-out of SMS/MMS messages from a business using Age Texting? To unsubscribe, simply reply to the text message with "STOP" or follow the instructions provided in the message.
Can I segment my contact list for targeted messaging? Yes, Age Texting's query feature and integration setup often allows you to create segments based on various criteria such as location, behavior, or demographics.
How can I ensure my SMS/MMS messages are delivered promptly? Age Texting employs industry best practices to ensure timely message delivery. Ensure your contact list is up-to-date and monitor message delivery reports for any issues.

How do I access customer support outside of regular business hours? From your dashboard, go to Support. Locate the "Report an issue" tab and complete the short form and submit.
Can I import and export data from Age Texting platform easily? Yes—you can upload contacts using a .CSV file as well as export your contacts and campaign analytics.
How do I access and manage my SMS/MMS message history? You can access your SMS/MMS message history on the Subscribers section of your dashboard. Locate the Message History tab where you can view previous campaigns. From there, you can pull up the campaign to see the exact verbiage and attachment, if you sent an MMS. You can also download your attachment from there.
Can I send SMS/MMS messages at specific times of the day or week? Yes, you can schedule SMS/MMS messages for specific times and dates using Age Texting's scheduling features.
Are there any restrictions on the length of SMS/MMS messages? SMS messages are limited to 160 characters per message. If your message exceeds this limit, you will need to select a 2-credit SMS option or 3-credit SMS option. If sending an MMS, you can use up to 5,000 characters plus an attachment.
Does Age Texting offer training or onboarding assistance for new users? Absolutely! We provide training materials, webinars, or onboarding support to help users get started.
Can I set up recurring SMS/MMS campaigns? Yes, you can often set up recurring SMS/MMS campaigns for events, promotions, or regular messaging.
How do I measure the engagement of my SMS/MMS marketing campaigns? Engagement can be measured through open rates, click-through rates, and conversion tracking provided by Age Texting's analytics.

What happens if a recipient's phone is turned off or out of service? Age Texting typically retries message delivery, and you can track delivery status in your reports.
How do I unsubscribe someone from my SMS/MMS list if requested? From the Subscribers page, you can pull up the subscriber's data and click on "Opt Out" to opt out the subscriber upon their request. However, this should happen automatically if the subscriber texts "STOP" to your texting number.
How do I change my account settings, such as password or contact information? You can update your account settings on the Settings page of your account. If you forget your password, request a reset password link from the login page.
Can I use short codes for SMS/MMS marketing with Age Texting. We allow you to use our shared short code to capture opt-ins using keywords. Outgoing messages will sent from your long code. If you purchase a short code through us, messages will be sent from your short code.

Will my subscribers be charged for messages? Age Texting only sends standard rate messages, which means your SMS/MMS subscribers won't be charged anymore than if you were to text message them from your own mobile phone. Standard message and data rates apply, which your subscriber is made aware of when they opt in.

You can create template under Media Inserts and select the Templates tab. You might also want to reuse a previous message. Simply locate it in your message history and click "Reuse".
Can I import contacts from my email marketing platform into my Age Texting account? Some email marketing platforms can be integrated with Age Texting to import contacts. Be sure to add proper SMS marketing disclaimer to the opt-in form you use on your website.
What happens if a customer replies to one of my SMS/MMS messages? You can receive a notification of incoming text messages then log into your account and respond to them to answer any questions they might have. Avoid collecting billing information or private information via this correspondence. The two-way texting feature should be used for answering basic questions and concerns.
